“The world looks marvelous from up here, so peaceful, so wonderful, and so fragile. Everybody, all of us down there… have to keep it clean and good.”  ~ Israeli Air Force Col. Ilan Ramon

Our thinking about soil evolves as we become aware of innovative processes and new elements, compounds, and treatments to improve soil health.

Our growing understanding of soil degradation, food security, food safety, and water conflicts are just a few of the factors that are impacting our global landscape. There is an emerging demand to create a new vision for sustainable soil.

We face many challenges in managing the world’s growing demand for energy, food and water. And, a critical component in solutions is sustainable soil management.

A detailed framework with an actual plan for soil health is necessary and requires the commitment of governments, scientists, farmers and stakeholders across all nations.
